After 5 years serving the NW with indie fashions, gifts and accessories, The Paperdoll, located at 312 W Champion Street in Downtown Bellingham, will begin its closing sale May 11th at 10AM.
Known for its carefully curated assortment of items from up and coming artists around the country and globe, The Paperdoll drew customers from all over the state and beyond. To their customer base, The Paperdoll was a top shopping destination in Bellingham for unique hand-made items and the place to go for a card that said it all and more.
“It’s been such a joy to be a part of the retail community in Bellingham” said Shultzie Fay, The Paperdoll owner. “I have felt so inspired by my guests to keep going through these tough times. It was never easy, but always worth it.” Fay stated that the closure came as a bittersweet end to a beautiful run, but that after careful consideration the time had come to move on. “Moving to downtown was one of the most fabulous things for my business. I loved being in an upcoming neighborhood and seeing all the changes over the last few years. I am so proud of what I have created and I am so blessed to have shared this dream with so many wonderful people. I have no regrets – this was the most magical adventure.”
With the closure comes a storewide clearance sale that will include all fixtures and décor items. The Paperdoll will offer progressive markdowns throughout the sale month. The Paperdoll will be open seven days a week beginning May 11th, 2011 with retail hours from 11AM – 6PM and Sunday 12-5PM. The final day of operations is slated for Sunday June 12th. All sale items are final sale. New items arriving daily.
