The Paperdoll Features Lucas Vidana
Gallery Show and Reception: Ongoing
Opening Reception Friday, March 6th, 2009
(Downtown Gallery Walk)
The Paperdoll is proud to showcase the works of local Bellingham pop artisan Lucas Vidana.
Vidana’s Paperdoll debut will feature a muted color palate using various mediums such as screenprinting, acrylic paint, vintage materials, and bonding agents, featured on his expertly crafted wood frames and canvass. Vidana’s work will be on display throughout The Paperdoll boutique March 5th – April 2nd.
Vidana, an accomplished artist in both the Bellingham and regional art scene, has been drawing and painting since age eight.. Creating depth in his work by layering mediums, Vidana uses vibrant colors, patterns, symbols, and brands to produce paintings that are very visible from afar while being filled with intriguing detail up-close. His debut at The Paperdoll will favor a more subtle color scheme while maintaining his detailed and uniquely crafted aesthetic.
