Mary Louise was born in 1978 and grew up in Orange County, CA. She graduated from the Laguna College of Art and Design in Laguna Beach, CA in 2004 with a Bachelors of Fine Art in Illustration. She currently resides in Seattle, WA with her boyfriend, a black cat and a Bugg puppy. The necklaces she makes depict miniature printed reproductions of her original paintings. Mary's art is stylistically inspired by the Golden Age Illustrators of the early 1900's. Her work whimsically depicts her love and fear of nature as she believes that nature is beautiful, sometimes cute and magical but always unpredictable.
